Just wondering if anyone has heard of people finishing medical school and residency but doing something related to medicine but not specifically practicing medicine.

And as part of the bonus round, what if you didn't do med school or residency in the UK?

    Thanks for any insight.

I wouldn't complain if a pharmaceutical company or biotech wanted to retain me for two hundered thousand pounds a year - but most of those plum jobs ask for MRCP(UK) registration, so even if you didn't train there, you would need to find a way to get certified
