Alzheimer's Association Internship - Clinical Exp?

I'm currently in need of some clinical experience. I'm thinking about doing an internship with the local Alzheimer's Association (educating families about the disease, doing odd-jobs for the organization) and was wondering if it would be considered clinical experience. I have been told that some of the time I will be working directly with patients who suffer from the condition.
