Hi all,

I am applying to dental school this cycle, and will be taking my DAT early July. I will be submitting my application late July to about 20-25 schools and finishing my secondaries that same month and early August. Would this give me enough time to become competitive for out of state schools? I am hoping to land some interviews around September-November and hear back in December (Don't we all?).

My current GPA is science and overall is a 3.49 and my DAT is AA 20. This will be my finalized GPA because I graduated last year with a biology degree. I am retaking it because my DAT will expire in September for some schools and I scored too low on the perceptual ability. Thanks in advance!

Ya, early August is still pretty early. I doubt it will really hurt your chances much, if at all.

As long as you have everything in by August, you'll be fine.
