Hi,

Does the word "post-secondary" include the summer after hs and before freshman year starts? i.e. From Day of hs graduation to September, which is when college starts?

I included what I did that summer following hs, I worked on a clinical research project at the mayo clinic...seemed to be "post secondary" to me. No one said anything about it so go for it. hope that helps

I even included a couple of high school "honors" (but not EC's) and no one commented through 13 interviews. In fact, I think they helped me get the interviews. But this year they're limiting the number of spaces for post-secondary stuff, so don't know how much room there will be. I would have no question about including stuff from summer between high school and college.

I would include anything that you think will help you gain admissions...I would definitely put it if you have room

You've got 15 spaces, use them however you want.

Remember, AMCAS and the medical schools only want RELAVENT EC's. The whole reason they limited it to 15 was so people wouldn't put down every little po-dunk thing they did from high school onward. It doesn't matter folks, and they don't care. They want experiences relavent to medicine and medical school. I highly doubt they care about each semester you made dean's list. They can read your GPA for themselves.
