AMCAS Application on hold?!?!

Someone told me that if I sign up for the August MCAT or if I note on my AMCAS app that I'm going to take the August MCAT, my application process will stop until they get my August MCAT scores? Is this true?

Yeah, also what if you check 'No' on the will you retake the amcat in august question , but still retake it. Is amcas going to automatically set it to 'Yes' once you register for the august test ? does anyone know ?
