Follow-up: would this EEB 397 class count as Biology (BCPM) or non-BCPM? It's under the Biology department but it's primary content is a blend of biology and writing/reading science papers.

Also, does AMCAS round GPAs (eg. 2.34567 = 2.35) or truncate to the last 2 decimals (2.34567 = 2.34)?

Thanks

Edit - Follow-up question: would this PSYCH 230 class count of Psychology (non-BCPM) or Biology: Neuroscience (BCPM)? It's under the Psych department but it's primary content has a blend of biopsychology and hard neuroscience.

Edit - Follow-up question: Do independent bioscience research-for-credit courses count towards BCPM?

I took a 1 credit course, ASTRO 127 - Naked Eye Astronomy:

Will it count towards the BCPM GPA - Physics - Astronomy, or something in Natural and Physical sciences (non-BCPM)?

My independent research is listed as a BIO4950 class so it's classified as BCPM.
Also given a letter grade.

My suspicion is that AMCAS would count it toward non-BCPM based on the PSYCH 230 classification. If this were to happen, you could submit an academic change request and argue why it should count toward your BCPM GPA.

Also, I believe AMCAS rounds up GPAs.
