I'm sure some of you have dealt with this...so I come to you for advice.

I have 2 questions:

1. What if I have lost all contact information for one of my ECs (because it was ~5 years ago). Should I make up a phone number? (what's the chances of a school calling anyway?) Use [email protected] as the email address? :shrug:

2. If I worked at multiple places within the same general field (say, I worked at a Petco for 3 months, then a Petsmart for 4 months, then a Petco in a different state for 2 months, etc....), would it be okay to include these all under the single heading of "worked in pet stores"?

(PS. I haven't actually worked at a pet store. That is an example.)

1. You can list yourself as a contact. Are you absolutely sure there's no email address or phone number you can include?

You might use a title that gives more information like Short-Term Pet Store Employment or Seasonal Pet Cage Cleaning Jobs or Summer Aquarium Algae-Removing Specialist.
