Hi..

anyone know anything about the fee waiver?

is it like a discount or do they waive the whole fee?
approx. how much does the family income have to be to get it?
is it used for the AMCAS applications only or for both AMCAS apps and the individual school secondaries?

any response would be greatly appreciated!

thanks!

the first 10 schools are free. after that, it's $30/each

i don't know. it would have to do with family size, but i'm interested in this as well.

many schools say they'll waive the secondary fee if you received the amcas fee waiver. you just have to ask.

It is a general fee waiver. You can apply to 10 schools fee free (including secondaries), and then you have to pay for any extra over 10 but I don't know how much.
Are you independent or dependent? They based mine on my parents total income in correlation with mine, and that totaled about $37,000 and I was denied. I have heard that it is really tough to get approved, but try anyway. I think the deadline might have passed for this year's waiver but check and see.
Good Luck.
