I know it's the popular thing to do to rag on AMCAS for their eternal stupidity, but I thought I should let you guys know that I called them this morning...after waiting only ten minutes to talk to a rep, she verified that my application and transcripts were in, and my credit card was charged the right amount...I certified it YESTERDAY, and mailed the transcript just last week. The woman I spoke with was very nice, too.
    Incredible.
Maybe this is a good omen for transmission starting soon?
    Nah....maybe I'm just lucky!

the very first time that i called AMCAS, i spoke to a very nice, friendly, helpful, and most importantly, *knowledgeable* lady. maybe you spoke to the same one? too bad not everyone answering the phones is like her....

Thanks. I just found out (after only a 25 minute wait, no less) that they have my one and only transcript. :D

Now all I have to do is wait for them to transmit to the schools.
