I took community college courses while in high school, and I did pretty poorly in them. I was wondering if my grades in these courses will be included in my overall AMCAS GPA, or just a special "high school" GPA category. Does anyone actually know the different AMCAS GPA categories, by the way? I know there is BCPM and Overall, but is there also a Undergrad GPA? Thanks!

All of your community college courses no matter when they were taken will be factored into your AMCAS GPA.

Everything counts, even if you were still in HS. The people at AMCAS are grade NAZI's. I can see them saying "No High GPA for you". Next!

But don't let that stop you from applying to Med school. You can always do better and redeem yourself one way or another.

How far are you into College?
