Hi guys,

I just had a quick question - Last night I calculated my up to date AMCAS GPA, and it came out to 3.2152. My GPA is my biggest weakness in the application, and i know I am sounding desperate, but will my GPA be rounded up, to 3.22? Do they round at all?

Thanks for your help

Yeah, you definitely do not want a 3.21. The psychological effect of decreasing numbers from right to left will significantly hurt your application. A 3.22 is much better.

does it matter?

Well 0.01 is 0.3% of your GPA. Imagine if 0.3% of the time spent during your undergraduate years was completely wasted because of a computer program. Would you be annoyed at losing 10-11 hours?

Yea, you're lucky. I heard they screen out 3.21 GPA and below at 40% of the schools.

No, but really don't worry about it. You got what you got and when you get interviews, make sure you let them see past it. Good luck!
