So I'm a reapplicant and went through line by line my course list last year after verification. This year, I figured since I didn't touch anything, it'd be fine.

Lo and behold: not fine. AMCAS listed one of my ochems as a repeat!! Now it looks like I never completed the series.

I'm of course post 5 days after verification and pretty much all my secondaries have been submitted.

I emailed amcas, but will they change it given its past the five days they give you? How royally screwed am I ?

Rule 1: Take a Breath

1) Repeat markings are primarily done to make it easier for adcoms to spot
2) AMCAS is not used to mark prereq fulfillment or similar
3) send a short update to each school that there appears to be a computer glitch on AMCAS transcript that mistakenly shows Organic as a repeated course where it is simply the full series of Ochem I/II. Dont go further in blame that implies it was AMCAS other than glitch
4) it wont be a big deal
5) yes, you can put on clean underwear now
Lol phew. I know it's ridiculous. However this makes me feel a million times better. Thank you!!
