AMCAS parent guardian list

Hey guys i was just running an audit on my amcas app. this afternoon and realized i didn't enter in information on my parents. Since this isn't required i was wondering if most people included this info on their apps or not. The reason im asking is because one of my parents is a physician and i thought that adcoms might see that as a negative...sorta like ur only goin into medicine cuz of your parents....which isn't the case with me. Anyways just thought i'd throw it out there and see if anyone had any opinions on the subject....thanks..

Does anyone know what exactly they ask for besides their education level achieved?
