    Hey,
I had a question about dates of post secondary experiences. I did some volunteer work at a hospital during the summers only (Jun-Sept) for about 3 years. How would I write this down? If I put Jun 1997- Sept 1999, it makes it seem as if I were volunteering there all throughout even though I only did it during the summers.
    Please help!

i have a similar situation. i'm just going to put the entire length of time e.g. jun 1997 - sep 1999 and explain in the comments section that it was just for the summers

Just do like pocwana and write Jun 1997- Sept 1999 then mention in the comments section that you only did it over the summer. :)

I'm wondering though... if you're applying this year... why are you talking about stuff you did back in 1997 and 1999? How long have you been an undergrad for? Did you take time off? Just curious...

    relatively prime-
you act as though i am 50 years old! :) I actually graduated from high school in 1997 and entered UCLA. I finished UCLA in 4 years, class of 2001!! And now I'm applying! It's just been one year since I graduated!

When describing post secondary experiences, are we supposed to write it in first person? Could someone be kind enough to post an example? It would totally help!

If you've done something more than once, you write down the first date that it happened. And in the comments section, you can add how many more times you did this, and how many hours etcetcetc. :)

    tweetie bird,
that wasn't my question! in the comments section, we are supposed to describe our activities. should we write this in first person?
