How does medical school filing/primary deadline work?

Does it count when you press submit on your AMCAS or until when AMCAS verify your application (which is 3-4 weeks later)??

As long as you submit your Primary to AMCAS with the given school listed prior to that school's deadline, you are considered to have applied on time, even if you are verified after the deadline.
