AMCAS Question- Transcripts

It's been over a week since I sent out transcripts to AMCAS but my status on the online application has not yet changed (for all 4 schools I have attended and requested transcripts from!)

Can anyone with any experience on this matter tell me how long it usually takes for AMCAS to acknowledge that they have received your transcripts? Is their regular mail currently backed up?

Also, I just wanted to double check and make sure that the address we use to send the transcripts to AMCAS is the same as the one on the "print transcript request" forms we generate for each school attended. I know... kind of a stupid question, but I just don't want to have any more excessive delays. It was a PO Box address.

I think it usually takes 3-5 business days for AMCAS to update their site, meaning that it should take about a week including time alloted for snail mail.

If it doesn't change within the next few days, I would try to contact them and see if they can tell you which ones they've received and which ones they haven't. If one of your schools neglected to properly furnish your transcript it could snag the process.
