AMCAS Semesters Question

Hey guys,

If you started college on Fall of 1997, then the semester should be S1 (1997) and then Spring 1998 should be S2. AMCAS changes it to Spring 1997 as S2 even though I was not in college during Spring 1997. As a result my course work is 1997-2000 when it should be 1997-2001. Is someone else having the same problem? What's the correct way of entering the coursework?
