Hey,

Just had an odd situation that i'm confused about. I will be applying for 2012 matriculation and took my MCAT in September of 2008 (28), and now I will be retaking my MCAT in August of this year and was unsure of whether I should get my AMCAS in now or after I get my second MCAT score. Won't my 2008 MCAT expire soon? What are the pros and cons of submitting now vs. in 2 months? Thanks!

As far as I know, you can go ahead and submit now if you want to - the MCAT scores will be added to it later. I don't know how useful that would be though, because the schools won't look at you until after you have the new scores and you wouldn't be able to edit your app after you submit it if you have anything new/interesting to add. Honestly I'd try to take the MCAT sooner if possible and submit shortly before you get your scores back.
