Probably 80% (this is a total guess) of test-takers think they did badly on the real MCAT, but most folks score within a point or two of their AAMC average. Setting aside the gap year thing, (take one if you need time to live a little, but if you don't already have something good lined up you probably won't be helping your chances any) you can *most likely* count on your score not keeping you out of medical school. Whether you can get into a "top school" is something else again.

You can submit your app and wait, but you probably scored around your average.
