Hey everyone,
i was just wondering what is considered early for submitting amcas and what is considered late. i've filled out some of the application and i'm still working on the first draft of my essay, so i think i'm a little behind. everyone here seems to be almost done. oh well. i know the earlier the better, but let me know if i should be really worried about this or not.
thanks 🙂

I would start worrying if your application isn't in by Halloween, otherwise don't worry too much. Before August is certainly early enough. But I'll add that the earlier the better.

i submitted my amcas 1st of july last year. i got secondaries by end of july. my first interview offer was in august.

basically you'd want to have your secondaries done before interview season begins, thus try to get everything done prior to the end of summer.

If you are taking the MCAT's for the first time in august and want to apply for this cycle, is it better to wait until after the MCAT's or submit the application NOW? 😕 PLS SHARE YOUR STORIES. THANX!

Submit it now. In this way your application is entirely complete once the August MCAT scores are issued in October. Verification of your transcripts can take 6 weeks (even more last year) so if you wait until after you receive your MCAT scores, schools may not receive your primary application until November.
