Finally!!

I submitted AMCAS on July 15. It has just been verified/processed...three months later. And only because I called them two weeks ago and told them the schools (especially Stanford) were holding me up because of AMCAS delays. So AMCAS put me on some sort of prioroty list. I guess it pays to make noise.
NOW - How do I know if it has been transmitted to the med schools?

As far as I know the only way to find out is to call the school and ask them. Some of the schools will have gotten it through electronic transmission and some who are not yet set up to receive electronic transmissions will be getting a paper copy from AMCAS. AMCAS sends out the paper copies once a week, on Mondays. So the paper copies will be stuck in the schools' huge mail piles for some time. It would certainly be interesting to know which schools are getting electronic transmissions. Anybody know?
