For what it's worth, I had about 6-8 "X" corrections on my AMCAS courses despite thinking I followed their directions and I've still received a couple II. I believe they can see the markings but I doubt that it is particularly important to them.

I had the same "issue," but have 7 II's so far. Doesn't seem to make much of a difference. I doubt the ADCOM's look into it that much. Probably just a technical glitch.

I remember reading that if there are more than 10 errors, they would ask you to resubmit the AMCAS. Since they verified it, it most likely is a glitch, and I bet admissions people are aware of the number of errors allowed.
