I was wondering, what are some American friendly schools in the UK? I know some schools give priority to international students from disadvantaged countries, so what universities are good for an American to apply for? Thanks!

No where is particularly pro or anti American as far as I know.

Any school should be fine really. Manchester says they prefer people from disadvantaged countries not sure if they still do though. I know that most medical schools are fine though.
