I'm an American student, and I've been looking at a long-term goal of moving to Canada to find public health work. Since American and Canadian health systems are fairly distinct from one another, I was wondering whether it would be to my advantage to try and to earn a Canadian MPH, or do American MPH degrees have enough international recognition that I wouldn't have too much trouble transitioning/finding work? I don't foresee nonprofits and NGOs up there taking much issue with it (as if I know the first thing about Canadian NGOs), but I have a feeling any government jobs would be tough to catch.
