American University of Health Sciences in Long Beach, CA plans to open a pharmacy school!

I received an ad from this school telling me to enroll in their B.S pharmaceutical sciences program and after 4 years, I would be admitted to their pharmacy school even though its pharmacy school doesn't even have pre-candidate status.

Even tho an on-site visit was denied by the ACPE during its June 2013 meeting (page 3), it still states on its website, "ACPE has invited the School of Pharmacy to appear before its Board of Directors for review of its pre-candidate application in June 2013".

I doubt it'll move forward, the other one in West Hollywood (some other mill) didn't get pre-candidate status.

More like marketing to me....if you can shuffle desperate pre-pharms into a worthless degree program (BS pharm sci) from some 3rd rate unranked school by promising the potential of a pharm school admission at the end, why not?
