AMG, 205-215 step 1, EM still an option?

Is EM still an option if I apply to every program and get at least an average step 2 score? Matching anywhere would be a dream come true.

I also have published basic science research, have an MPH, and am pretty connected with several EM faculty at my school. Faculty are either friends of friends or relatives of friends and we see each other outside of the hospital.

Yes. 113 US seniors matched with a 201-210 USMLE Step 1 the last year data is available. More matched with 211-220.
