How much anatomy and what kind of anatomy would we need to know for the COMLEX? For example, how would they test our knowledge of muscles? Could anyone give an example?

I guess is what I trying to ask is this: is there a point of memorizing bone markings etc? Are they in any way comlex relevant? What part of anatomy should we be focusing on? Are there questions regarding muscle actions and nerve innervation to those muscles asked on the comlex? For example, do they ask questions like if there is an injury to a nerve, what will be the consequence? Thanks for all your help?

I would go to the website for the Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners and check it out. It's my understanding that they have some sample COMLEX questions on the various subjects, and this might give you a clue about the test. Also there may be some info there about the number of questions usually asked per subject matter. All my buds who have taken it report that the 2nd year subjects of micro, pharm and path are tested much more heavily than the first year subjects. Good Luck!
