Anatomy and Spelling

Im takin an anatomy class and am doing pretty well in it so far...however our prof doesnt take off for spelling.... If he did my A would be an F right now.... some of this crap is too complicated to spell.... is spelling a big issue while taking anatomy in med school?

Spelling correctly didn't matter in my anatomy class. I imagine it's that way at most med schools too.

spelling did matter at my school. If you were off by one letter that was ok, but otherwise it was marked wrong if spelled wrong.

One of my fellow students who was an MD/PhD, much more interested in the PhD part, had a funny comment on his anatomy strategy.

He said "I only need to know the first 4 letters, then I just write messy after that". He passed.
