I was wondering if for anatomy it is better to just use an atlas or get a clinical anatomy book like this

I know people will say just bootleg it but I learn better having a physical copy.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Depends on your learning style, honestly. My school had us get a different clinical book and then has physical and online access to netter atlas for us, and some people love the clinical book while others never touch it. I use my clinical book and like it, but it's not my main source for learning the material.

I prefer an atlas. Still use it to this day in residency.

Odds are, the textbook may not show the structures you need to find in anatomy lab. Also, you may end up like many medical students and not rely on textbooks. Many of the important, clinical aspects of anatomy can be learned in lecture or using Step 1 review resources. Save your money.
