Secondary dentin.

hey ans in asda is same but how can b secondary dentin it is the normal dentn which form after root formation. if option is reparative or tertiary it could b the ans .What about predentin i think it shoud b the ans .plz any one confirm

hi,
ans is post ganglionic sympathetic cell bodies i have read some where

I have posted some asda question from iE pack can u plz explain those

the tissue formed in response to stimuli produced by carious preparation of a tooth is
predentin
primary dentin
secondary dentin
cellular cementum
acellular cementum

secondary dentin seems to be most appropriate here, though its msinly aging that causes sec dentin deposition . any external simulus ,most likely causes reparative/tertiary dentin .

Acc to defn of sec dentin, it seems quite close, to the words of teh question . here's the defn : the dentin formed or deposited on the walls of pulp chambers and canals subsequent to the complete formation of the tooth; caused by certain metabolic disturbances that result in irritation and stimulation of the odontoblasts to renewed activity.

please correct me if i got any point wrong here .

ans in asda key given same cej but I thought facial embrassure doesn't stabilize the dental arch.

plz czn u explain this

hey it primarily functions as spillways , but also, Embrasures prevent impaction of food between teeth , whereby , it prevents pressure on teeth, and hence helps them stay aligned on the arch, thus arch stability !

cej , is supported by way of sharpey's fibers and PDL fibers that run from cementum to tooth , thus it plays role on individual tooth than on an entire entire arch .

I hope it helps , and this seemed to be , as a reasonable expln, if, anybody else comes up with a better one , please helps us out !

a max CI cross sectioned at the CEJ will have which of the following forms?
round
square
triangular
rectangular
pentagonal

plss ans this....thanks

normal max arch from sagittal view, which tooth inclinations r observed?
posterior teeth r mesially inclined
anterior teeth r distally inclined-answer
posterior teeth r distally inclined
post teeth r stright with no inclination
ant teeth r stright with no inclination

plss confirm.......
if yess, what is the inclination of max posteriors from sagittal view??????

when they say inclination of teeth, does it mean the whole tooth?
coz the inlination of posterior maxillary roots r distally n the crown is mesially inclined, n similarly for mandibular teeth.(distally n facially)
i guess whn u see the arch form sagittal view u can only see the crown, so the ans would b 1st..posterior teeth r mesially inclined..
n anterior teeth also mesially inclined..

q.The largest incisal/occlusal embrassureis located b/wwhich of the following teeth?
max.central n lat incisors
mand central n lateral incisors
max lat n canine
mand lat n canine
max canine n first premolar

plz give reason also

largest incisal-occlusal embrasure: maxillary ccanine n 1st PM
2nd largest:maxi LI n Canine
3rd largest: mandi LI n canine
4th largest: maxi CI n Maxi LI
5th largest: between maxi CI
6th largest: mandi CL n LI
7th largest: bet mandi CL
if the question was largest incisal embrasure it would b maxi canine n LI.
hope this helps

in a protrusive movement the max left central incisor can potentially come in contact with which of the following mand teeth?
22 n 23
23 n 24
24 n 25
25 n26

Hi,
thank u .but can u tell why it can't be 22n 23 becoz max lat occlude with canine n lateral of mandible so in protrussive also that should b in contact?

here another
-ligaments associated with the tmj serve to
-inhibit normal masticatory cycle
-protect surrounding n supporting tissues from damages
-assist musculature in producing movement
-allow for retrusive movement to occur
-provide elastic potential to allow for border movement

plz ans with reason

ur ans would b right if they had asked abt maxi LI, but the question is abt maxi CL..hence the ans is 24 n 23

i think the ans should b protection of surrounding n supporting structures..since it prevents from excessive protrusive, lateral, medial n retrusive movements.
do u have the key for this one?

Can anyone please answer with explanation ?

A.all increase surface area of small intestine except one ?

A.all increase surface area of small intestine except one ?
1.villi
2.rugae
3.microvilli
4.brush border
5.circular folds

i'm pretty sure the small intestine (si) does not contain rugae, the stomach does however. villi, micro villi,, and the brush border are definitely in the small intestine. the circular folds (i'm assuming they are the plicae circularis or something like that) are also a feature of the si. hope that helps.

can anyone plss ans this question-
which of the following differentiates mandibular premolars from maxillary premolars?mandibular PM

1.have pupl horns of equal size.
2.have lingual cusps less developed.
3.have crowns tilted to the facial.
4.have roots much less round and bifurcated
5.have trapezoidal shaped facial surfaces.

Hi pbkal
Is this the question from asda-I?
for this i have an explanation

can anyone help me with this question-
what is the effective filtration pressure under following conditions??
capillary blood pressure-30mm hg-pc
plasma osmotic pressure-6.000mm hg-p
tissue fluid osmotic pressure-5.975-I
tissue fluid pressure-5mm hg-PI

1.plus 10mm hg
2.plus 5mm hg
3.0 -ans
4.minus 5mm hg
5.minus 10mm hg

Effective filtration pressure = [pc+I] - [PI+P]
=[30+5975] - [5+6000]
=o
correct me if wrong.

hey be positive !!thanks........i have a printed form of this paper.it was misprint.i thought its 6.000mm hg instead of 6,000mmhg.the print is not clear actually.anyways!!thanks.
