I was wondering if it would be a good idea to try to study a little anatomy during the summer before I begin medical school. Although I studied biochemistry at my undergraduate institution, I feel I have no knowledge of anatomy and only limited knowledge of physiology. What should I do? Should I study on my own, if at all? Or should I take the review course some medical schools (i.e., UCSD, UCI, Ohio State) offer the summer before medical school? Let me know. Thank you in advance.

Also, I apologize in advance if this is a topic that has already been discusseed in the Pre-Allopathic Forum. I posted a similar question in the Allopathic Forum a couple days ago, but I wanted to get some perspective from recently *accepted* medical students. Again, thank you.

I've thought about asking what books are going to be used next year. When I'm not working or partying, I'd like to do a little studying. Being a chem major, I'm a bit intimidated by all the anatomy that will come my way.

Maybe you can do the same...contact the school to see what books are required for your first year.

Don't be silly. You will have enough time in medical school to study anatomy.

I'm not even going to look at a book this summer (well, other than reading for personal enjoyment). I am also going to Disneyworld, so screw all books that instill knowledge! Allright, I am not bitter huh?

It's much more "user friendly".

:clap: Ya know you want it! :clap:

There is no way that I will ever look at a p-chem book again in my life!

Hey Bubba, how about we meet up when I'm at Disney so that we can burn the little devils!

date?

location? -> Disney's a big place.

You better bring bookoo bucks. Disney is absurd. I actually hate the place (it's so friggin' expensive). I affectionately call it "The People's Republic of Disney".

I guess an evil book deserves an evil combustion location.

I may be taking P Chem II again this summer if I don't pass the class. I've terminated my lease, so... I'm screwed if I can't manage.

Aaaaahhhhhhh...can't wait for anatomy (I've got to tie this into the original topic).
