Anesthesia Critical Care Fellowship 2013

Just wondering if anyone start applying/interviewing yet for 2014 spot?

We have seen applications fir 2014. I dont think we have interviewed anyone yet, maybe one person

Most likely, though cardiac is still in the running. It'll be a couple years though, doesn't look like it'll work out for next academic year as I was hoping.

Short version - as I'm still in the Navy, I have to apply for and receive funding to spend a year away for fellowship. The number of those funded slots varies year to year based on projected needs for subspecialists. Some of that depends on current staffing levels, and which subspcialists are predicted to leave the Navy, and when. No fellowships were approved for the 2013-2014 year, and 2014-2015 looks dim except for pain and maybe regional, so I can't go yet. I probably won't get to do the fellowship until 2015-2016.
