I find it odd that physicians and dentists make up 9/10 of the highest paying professions in America. Could that be contributory to our bankrupt healthcare system?

these numbers provided are vastly off!!!!

for one it groups all surgeons together. orthopods are pulling in 500k a yr. starting coming out is around 300-350k out of residency.

internists are listed at pulling in almost 190k on there which is sooooooooo far from the truth. most guys in IM are getting around 150.

All other physicians are listed under internists. Soooooo false. Urology makes around 300-350k a yr. Specialists pull in big money. Family is listed as 168k which is false, maybe if you are out in the boonies. Most places they ear between 90k-130k

Im sure a national survey is far less accurate then your personal opinion. ;)

The numbers are skewed because they only report salaried physicians/practitioners, not independent contractors. These are the numbers of practitioners who work for someone, while many work for themselves. It also fails to take into account alternate funds these folks are probably storing their money (IE business ventures, investment income, etc.)

Unfortunately with 60/100 senators being lawyers... they are almost one and the same!
