Hey guys,
I am applying for the 1st time this June and am kind of fuzzy on how to answer the questions on the AADSAS application. Is it better to write in complete sentences or fill it out like a resume (point form)? I would love to hear how some of you guys did it for the current cycle and also to my fellow 2002-2003 applicants: What style are u guys gonna choose? I am just a little (ok, a lot) anxious to get started on the dental school application madness!! Thanks in advance to all who are willing to share.

it depends on the question...most of them though i'd like write a short paragraph to answer the question. The ones where they want you to list your volunteer experiences, etc..i just made a list of who, what, when, where, and how many hours per week...

Hey I'm anxious too about AADSAS!!

I'm thinking about using my coloring skillz from pre-school and art skills from college to fill out the application. I might use calligraphy to write my responses. And for the manual dexterity question I'm going to write: "ehm, duh...can't you see?" What do you think about that guys?

hey EyeCandy,
Where did you get the questions for the AADSAS app? Nothing is on the 2003 cycle on the ADEA website. Could you email it to me if you have them? Thanks!

Extractor,
I don't have any info on this upcoming cycle but I think that the questions are going to be very similar to last years application. I went to the ADEA site and created an account for myself this past summer just to see what info they wanted us to provide to dental schools. They ask you the usual...Work history, dental exp, honors and awards, family in dental field, academic record, etc. Nothing too serious. Just finding an appropriate style to answer the questions seems to be the biggest problem for me. Get your transcripts, work history, and family info together and your good to go! The personal statement, now that's another story. :( <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

Just make sure you don't write "your" when you mean "you're" on the AADSAS.
