Is taking a lot of difficult upper division courses have any positive
effect on application? I took about 15 upper division science courses,
though I was required to only take 6 to graduate. Any comments? Thanks!

Might show you can handle the work. Will it help? Maybe?

It really depends on the people on the Admissions and what the grades were.
