Any current UAB students out there?

If anyone can shed any light on this, it would be greatly appreciated. I am applying to UAB next Fall and live close, but not close enough. Their classes are recorded online, or that is what it states on their MSAR data. So I was hoping to get some information on how many classes are mandatory. My wife and I really love our home and don't want to move, but I understand that life isn't fair. Does anyone know how many lectures during the 1st and 2nd year are mandatory?
