Any EDP'ers out there?

Is anyone applying to the EDP for any medical school?

Just curious on how the application timeline is different for EDP'ers; what made you apply EDP vs. the conventional route, etc. =)

I was EDP. One school was a great fit for me and I would not have to uproot my family. It's a gamble for sure. Never apply EDP without meeting with an adcom from the school first.

Where I am applying you had to have all the EDP application materials in by 8/15.

I did simply because that is where I want to go to school. Hands down! I have been in talks with them for a couple of years and they know as a school they are my first and second choice. So, I rather take my chances and know early if I get in or not. The waiting is the worse part to me. Worse scenario is I get put in with the other apps and can apply to other schools. I would not be that behind since I can only apply in-state for financial reasons.
