Hi all!

I could not find anything on rotations at U of Hawaii in the forum. Anyone has experience on this?

I am particularly interested in hematology, or native Hawaiian heath. The school has a good website explaining the structure of electives, but I wish to hear first hand experience from those who had been there! Please let me know of your experience even if it is not in heme or native hawaiian health.

Are they laid-back/intense, atmosphere of the hospital, hours, possibility of using public transport (Oahu), safe, etc....?

Thank you very much :D.

Do you already have a place to live? Public transport (i.e. the Bus) will be tough if you're far away or have early hours.

Hello! I haven't had a place yet. I think I will rent only after I know where exactly I rotate at.

Yeah, even U of Hawaii suggests us who do outside rotation there to rent a car instead on relying on public transport!
