I am going to apply to the Hopkins MPH program when I graduate from PA school. My questions are: how was the application process? How was the workload while working? Would you recommend the Hopkins MPH to other clinicians?

I have an MPH from Hopkins. There was nothing notable about the application process that I recall. Pretty standard.

The workload isn't bad. I only did freelance work while I was a student there, and that worked fine. I don't suggest working full- or part-time if you're doing the full-time MPH program. You'd miss out on a lot of opportunities outside of regular courses - like activities, talks, and volunteering and networking opportunities.

I'd definitely recommend the program. I learned a ton, and use a lot of the knowledge in my work as a physician.
