i was inTviewed in january and the class is full now. the class is already planning a get together actually. but dont lose hope because some people bail out in the last minute so maybe you'll get on the waitlist and then get accepted. just be sure to keep your expectations realistic that way you won't experience any dissapointment. sorry to deliver the bad news to you but i figured that you'd wanna know anyways.

Just curious how you know this officially?? I was interviewed there in Jan and haven't been able to find out any information about whats going on.

Ummm no, I do think your a little paranoid...If I thought you were full of crap i'd say it. I simply wanted to know how you know this for sure. Some of us have been waiting and hoping for any kind of news now for a long time and havent been able to get anything. I was more interested in how you were able to find out, yet the rest of us are in the dark here... All you had to say was that you have an inside source.. To make a statement like "The class is full" is a definitive answer - Ofcourse were gonna want to know more!!!

fair enough...well, it's not a little birdy at all...i was just joking. i do not have an inside source. i was accepted a while ago and i am attending. i have the roster (assuming no one bails out) and the date of the first student get together. because the roster lists 39 students, which is the maximum for stony, i thought it would be reasonable to assume that the class is full.

i wanted to post that because the OP has been waiting on stony for quite a while and i wanted her/him to get an idea of what's going on. i hate for you guys to be dissapointed. however, i know nothing about the waitlist...

Hey, thanks for the heads up Fightingspirit, eventhough it's disappointing news for me. Congrats on your acceptance to Stony, it's a great school. I don't know how the waitlist works either, but maybe some people are holding more than one spot (trying to think positive) and will decide to go elsewhere. With any kind of luck, me (and the OP) will somehow get to join you there.
