were you accepted from Case?
I didn't include Case yet but do I need to?
please tell us your story.
well, i graduated from UCLA in 2005 with Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics major, i first got into dentistry after a nice chitchat with Dr. William Dorfman, who you may know from "Extreme Makeover", and right away I knew this was the career for me.
so i enrolled myself in one of those vocational school for RDA, trained myself for 9 months, and been volunteering/working as dental assistant for about 2 years now. i applied to cali schools, but as someone already mentioned it, they are very competitive.
i got accpeted to Boston, UNLV, and Case, and after careful evaluation of each school, Case was the best in terms of quality of education, cost of education as well as cost of living, despite some horrendous review on cleveland by fellow peers. it's not like i'm going to have a life for the next 4 years, so i figured where i live shouldnt be that much of a worry.
i've been working for this so hard the past 4-5 years and i'm just grateful that i finally get to go to school for it
where you go to school should be the last thing on your mind, i think. unless you have some extraordinary stats and background, you should be thankful whatever school accepts you. with that said, i wouldnt mind staying in cali and go to a school in cali, but i've pretty much lived here all my life and living somewhere else for extended period of time would be a learning experience.
good luck!
