Hi
I am looking for some advice from any med student from Colorado. I deferred a year due to pregnancy and now I am trying to figure out what kind of schedule does MS-1 and MS-2 has at Colorado so that I could plan for it (childcare, possible part-time work) when I start school next year.

I am espeically worry about the anatomy schedule...

Thanks much for the help in advance!

Hey there! Congrats on getting in and being a mom. both outstanding achievements.

I'll be honest, for the first 9 weeks, you LIVE at school with a pretty unpredictable schedule. There's a significant amount of lecture and 4 hour lab sessions usually 2-4 times a week. It can either be in the morning 8-12 or in the afternoon 1-5. I think that's what I struggled with. The inconsistent schedule.

But after anatomy, it settles down and you have lecture 8-12 every day, afternoon PBL 1-3 one day a week, and one afternoon to go see your preceptor.

So, if you can make it through anatomy, you're golden.

A little late on that one chucky.
