Any Nebraska Husker's out there??

For those of you that attend or know anything about Nebraska's school...How do you feel about the school? Also, I'm a big football fan an all, but what else does the city of Lincoln have to offer...outdoor activities and the like? (lakes, state parks, trails for running/biking,fishing) Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I just finished my first semester at UNMC, and I am definitely happy I made the decision to go here. The students are great, professors amazing, and you have all the help you can get. Plus the board scores have been crazy high lately.

As far as outdoors stuff, there are some trails, not a ton but enough if you know where to look. There is also Branched Oak lake nearby which is of decent size and a few others if you drive a little farther. It's not colorado in terms of the outdoor scene, but with what little time you have, it can suffice in the 4 years you would be here.
