Any Ohio State CVM people?

I've finally decided that I'll be attending Ohio State's CVM this fall and was wondering if there were any people who are going to be/are attending? Does anyone know what the housing situation is like in Columbus? Any info appreciated!

I have OSU attending envy - I'm currently finishing up my first year of a 2 year postbacc with the ultimate goal of being in your position. Although I'm not attending, I grew up in Ohio, and have several friends at OSU med/grad. They say the places most live are Upper Arlington, grandview, and (further out) Upper worthington/dublin. Apparently The Quarry complex is quite nice and allows furry things (what vet student doesn't have at least one?).

Cool, thanks a lot for the info! I'll have to get out there this summer to check these places out. Good luck with your Post-Bac- Is it a formal progam like the one at Drexel?

I'm at Penn's postbacc, so yes, it is formal in the sense we have advisors, committee letters, targeted programing (visits to Penn Vet, program alumni panels, etc.), and an idealized plan of study. It isn't like Drexel's in the sense that it is specifically focused on prevet. I'm doing all my basic (and not so basic but still required) sciences here with the goal of starting vet school in Fall '07.

Good luck with your housing hunt and move to Columbus!!
