Just wondering if I'm going to be the old man on campus. I'm a young 34 by the way. See everyone July 30th.

    Hi Dojo!

I, too, am a young 34 and will be starting at Nova this fall. I can't wait!

Has anyone heard about their loans yet, like how much they can be expecting? I just got my SAR recently, and am wondering what comes next. Are the rest of you planning on taking supplemental private loans (in addition to the 38,500)? If anyone has any advice on this please respond - pros/cons, which lenders, etc.

Keep on the financial aid dept. They are very confused and lose your documents...

I do not need loans b/c of the Health Professionals Scholarship Program through the US NAVY that I was accepted to.

There are loan amounts depending if you live on or off campus. You should be able to get the max amount, I would think. You should be getting the financial aid award letter soon, which says the total amount you can get.

    good luck

Just wandering what make you choose the HSPS scholarship. I am concidering it myself but I'am a little scared of joining the army after school. I have a seven year old son which I do not want to drag around.
Do you know some of the pros and cons?
