I'm very interested in Pathologists' Assisting, it seems like a very "let's dig in" career and I'm not easily grossed out. There are only a handful of programs for it. Can anyone offer some input?

excellent question. I dont know. When I was a student I tried to get an elective rotation unsuccessfully in pathology.

Doesn't Duke have a program for pathologists assistants? and some other colleges I can't think of right now....I think training is separate from that for a physician assistant but I'm not too sure....I think u mainly deal with tissue sections, and stuff in the lab and the morgue but I'm not too sure...check out duke's website for more info.

I had already located both of those pages.. I was kinda hoping a bit more for a first hand experience. I will continue my search for a pathologists assistant!
