Hi everybody
Well I ve seen threads where people from different communities have come together. It feels good to know each other. So just starting this thread to know how many SIKHS are there in this forum & where are you located?

I was in Toronto Canada , have now moved to California but now heading for NY as I got accepted there.

Welcome to all & feel free to use this thread as your own & discuss anything from Punjab to NBDE/ Canadian EE.

It feels so good to know you guys. Anyway I ve come all the way from Ludhiana. God How I miss that place ! I did my schooling from Punjab itself. I came here about 1 & 1/2 yr back , took the NBDE part 1 once , trying once again.

Anyone ever go to the restaurant, "Rangla Punjab/ Haveli" ?
That place is one of the best places EVER!!! A true represenation of the kheta, havava, teh Miti di Khoosboo of PUNJAB! 😎 😀 😎

I been to that place 2 years before.It is an amazing place.Try there lassi,if u go there in future-it was really good.

I feel really very happy to see so many inputs over here. As everyone is disclosing which city they belong to, so here its my lovely, small, grade A city of Punjab......PATIALA.....I am proud of to be Patialvi and of Patilavi turban style.Miss my city and people a lot. Manu De Lassi da koi mukabla nahi. Sheraanwala gate, Barandari, Kila chownk, BYYI no. Phatak, Jaggi sweets, Gopal Sweets, .............and at last but famous all over world is Punjabi Juti.

Haveli is a great place to check out. When I came here, there was another one coming up in Ludhiana itself. Don't know whether its been completed. But even the one B/w Ludhiana Jalandhar is not too far. & since the topic of music has come up did you guys hear that new CD Dildaariyaan??? Its simply Wow ! All the songs are too good & the lyrics are perfect.
Miss everything about Punjab. But the good part about Canada is that it has taught me how to make Makki diyan rotiyaan 😀 Believe me made them first time in my life & without any supervision & they came out great. 👍 .
Feels great to talk to all of you. Keep up the Punjabi Spirit. 👍

haveli near ludhiana(mulanpur) has ben opened ,my dad was saying that -it is not as good as jalandhar one.Singer of dildarian is amrinder gill and he is really good.This is nice thread atleast we can relieve our homesickness here

Been to Patiala quite a few times. It was fun all those times as had stayed with my friends. Yepp been to the famous Gopal sweets & does very well live up to its name. Food is real good.
Talking about food , Yes Amritsar is well known for that. Even I ve heard a lot about those keema naan but never had a chance to have those but had them in Ludhiana & they were good. Yes people I am a great food lover & thats what I miss here in this country. No rehris, no dhabas, no great places to eat. Nothing Like Punjab APNA PUNJAB HOVE .... I miss chaathi di lassi nothing in world can beat that thing.
Anybody in Toronto can check out Brar restuarant in Brampton if they haven't done that already coz their food is real good, very close to home food.
