My textbook atm is "Cell Biology" by Alberts (5th edition)
Really neat textbook, but really dense in material...I'd like to know a website that is not as comprehensive as this one

its the nature of the beast. no such thing as cell bio not being dense. for a look at other texts for free, go to www.pubmed.com. There, the NIH has for free several other searable Cell and Mole texts. My prof likes both Alberts and Lodish. I like Alberts better.

Alberts (not sure if it's the same Alberts) has "Molecular Biology of the Cell" online:

It only lets you browse by query but it's an excellent supplemental book.
