Long story short my essays are awful. I consider myself a fairly good writer, but I'm constantly baffled for a topic to write about for the questions. Usually I write about something very general about an incident from the past 10 years, but my scores pretty much always suck.
Does anyone have suggestions on any type of reading material that will give me more possible subjects to talk about for my essay? I'm going to register for January, so I have a bit of time. I'm trying to read the Wall Street Journal a few times a week, but it doesn't seem to help.
