For real. Also, make sure you only have to look through the passage once. Of course you can refer back to it, but you need to have a solid understanding of what the heck is going on with only reading it once. Don't get lost!

It depends on what's slowing you down in that section. Is it because you don't have a good grasp of the material or are you just working slow? If it's the former, then you have to review some more while doing TIMED practice problems. If it's the later, then you should pound away at doing TIMED practice problems

sooo...I should just do as many timed passages as I can? I have a strong grasp of the material, I just read really slow. Bah!

Practice mental math with decimals and fractions. That was my biggest problem at first, but after doing so much practice, the math became second nature.
